A simple power amplifier utilising MOSFET (metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor) is shown.  As the output swing of the power amplifiier is limited by the threshold voltage of the MOS transistor, an improvised version is given which tries to bypass this restriction.  Coincidentially, the improvised version can also function as a CMOS invertor circuit.
